At Mike York Fitness, our coaching staff have multiple certifications, including body transformation, nutrition, and more. There is no shortage of knowledge in this experienced roster. Coupled with years of hard work they've accomplished within themselves, you couldn't possibly be in better hands.
Developing the discipline to make a lifestyle change can be tough. Without the proper guidance, it's likely you'll fall off the wagon...again. With a great team and incredible support behind you, you'll quickly realize you're not in this alone. We genuinely care about you and your success. We know the struggles of creating healthy, new habits. So we take great pride in the fact that our team is so hands-on & available to you when needed.
L.E.G.E.N.D. is our proven 6-step process that embodies the very meaning of the word "success".
L - Leave old habits behind. Begin the process of creating new, healthy habits that create the discipline needed to succeed. Without discipline, we don't have consistency. And consistency is key.
E - Explore. What do you want out of this and, more importantly, yourself? What does a successful fitness journey look like to you? Is it a number on a scale or the reflection in the mirror? Maybe it's a state of mind? This step is so important.
G - Grind. The most challenging part of this process. What are you made of? Can you make the necessary adjustments? You have to be able to stomp out the negative thoughts and recognize your worth. Put in the hard work everyday. You owe it to yourself.
E - Evaluate yourself and your progress, as well as how you feel. This will be a crucial part in getting you where you want to be. This step is unavoidable & extremely important. Where have you come from and where are you going?
N - Nurture. You've put in all of this work, turned your health around, and feel the best you ever have. Sure, you've been consistent...but have you given yourself some grace for the weak moments? Then a pat on the back when you made up for it?
D - Declare. The most important of all. This is who you are. You've made serious life changes and for the better. Some people may not express happiness for you. Some may not be proud. Most will, some will not. That's just life. Just remember...You did this for you and your loved ones. Own this transformation. You did this to better yourself. Be proud of your accomplishments and continue this journey of being the best version of yourself you can be, whatever your reasons.
